My Approach

Traditional therapy can be so stale and impersonal. Trust me, I get it, and it’s why I’m committed to showing up authentically. I’m a therapist who can personally relate to what it’s like to really struggle, which means sometimes (if it makes sense!) I’ll share about myself, too. During therapy, I’ll provide you with an open space to share whatever is coming up (even + especially all the uncomfortable stuff). No topic is off-limits- I’ll be there to listen, validate, and sometimes give you a slight nudge. Therapy can be hard but I’ll be there to support you + we’ll always be moving at a pace that feels right to you.

I take a somatic (and sometimes spiritual) approach to therapy. I believe we are so much more than our thoughts and healing just can’t happen without a dual focus on the body. I do a lot of breath work, mindfulness, and visualization with clients in session, in addition to using EMDR and Brainspotting (which are two powerful somatic methods that can feel like magic).

I believe in the power of connecting to something greater, whatever that might mean for you.

Ultimately, my approach will always be personalized + tailored to you. At each session, we’ll work from exactly where you are while always keeping your big vision in mind. Together, we'll work on clearing current blocks and doing the work to bring you closer to the best version of you.
